Why an exreligious web site?

Are there not plenty of them out there along these lines? Atheist sites, exchristian, exmuslim, exhindu, agnostic sites, even very negative ones. There are spiritual sites out there, of every genre you can possibly imagine... So what need does this site fill that is not already filled? Well, maybe you were just simply religious. Or you had made your "own" sect in your mind. Now that you have finally come to realize that we mere mortals do NOT have all the answers, and that no religion can ever possibly lead you to any form of salvation, here is the place for support.

Our Intentions

It is not the intention of this web site to "bash" or blaspheme religion. There are enough sites out there that do this well enough on their own. Nor do we want or need evangelists or preachers from any faith dogging us. There is a place on the forums section that will allow religious people to try to "sell" their wares, this is to help exreligious people to "withdraw", and that will be that section's only purpose.

Freedom Of Speech

Within these pages, you "may" find a swear word or two, you will also find frank, open and honest, no holds barred speech. This is NOT a springboard for militant action. We do NOT now, nor shall we ever promote and accept "violence" as ANY solution. The path to de converting from religion is a mental, thoughtful one, not one done with the tip of a sword.
